THE UNION OF CATHOLIC MOTHERS IS AFFILIATED TO A NUMBER OF OTHER ORGANISATIONS

The National Council for Lay Associations

The National Council for Lay Associations is consulted by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales. The NCLA aims to respond to requests from the Bishops Conference and to bring matters of concern to the laity to their attention. It also acts as a forum for discussion and networking among lay organisations including the Newman Association.

National Council of Women

We represent women's views and concerns at the highest levels of government and are determined to make sure that discrimination is eradicated from all areas of society.

World Union of Catholic Women's Organisations

WUCWO's aim is to promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in society and the Church, in order to enable them to fulfil their mission of evangelisation and to work for human development.

World Womens Day of Prayer

The origins of Women's World Day of Prayer date back to the 19th century when Christian Women in the USA and Canada initiated a variety of cooperative activities in support of women's involvement in mission, at home and abroad.
