This is a Sub-Committee: members are appointed by the National Committee for not more than 5 years.
The Administrator organises convalescence and holidays of various kinds. Suitable accommodation is found in various parts of the country either from existing lists or using accommodation known to the member. Each Foundation President and Diocesan Welfare Officer should have a copy of the NHRHS guidelines. The Administrator will work closely with the Diocesan Welfare Officer, who will have been contacted by the Foundation Welfare Officer/President to find accommodation to meet the needs of the family/person concerned. Financial help is given from the NHRHS fund. Generous donations from the foundations keep the fund topped up. All requests will be treated in confidence. It is through the NHRHS the UCM has its charitable status. The National Welfare Officer is the link between this Sub-Committee and National Committee.
